Strategic crops for Algeria
Large-scale cereal and fodder production demands significant surface areas, efficient irrigation and adapted mechanisation. This is AMF Group's historic core business: creating and operating agricultural perimeters of several hundred hectares.
Our large-scale areas
AMF Group has developed and operates large-crop perimeters in southern and central Algeria. As an example:
- Illizi: 3,000 hectares of field crops (wheat, maize)
- El Menia: 1,000 hectares, including 25 already in production and 50 being planted
Mechanisation to match the scale
These perimeters are equipped with modern irrigation systems, pivots, drip irrigation and pumping stations, together with storage infrastructure to secure the harvests.
