Why in vitro culture?
In vitro propagation makes it possible to produce healthy, uniform plants identical to the mother plant, in large numbers and in all seasons. For banana, this technique guarantees vigorous plantation establishment, free of soil-borne diseases.
Our laboratory
Within the Rouiba complex, our laboratory masters the entire chain: tissue sampling, culturing, multiplication, then acclimatisation of young plants in the nursery before they are installed in the field.
