The Mateur variety
Originally from Tunisia, Mateur is a benchmark variety appreciated for its large size, pronounced flavour and good adaptation to the Mediterranean climate. It forms the heart of our pistachio programme, with plants selected and propagated at our Rouiba complex.
Our plantations
Our pistachio plantations are developing in western Algeria and the high plateaus. As an example:
- Maârif: 100 hectares of pistachios
- Saïda: 100 hectares currently being planted
That is more than 50,000 pistachio trees developed with our partners, with further projects in preparation.
Complete support
As with all our crops, the offer is turnkey: supply of plants, planting, installation of drip irrigation and agronomic follow-up during establishment. The goal: uniform orchards, ready to enter production in the best conditions.
