A demanding but promising crop
The tea plant is an evergreen shrub whose young leaves are used to produce tea. Its cultivation requires specific conditions: a mild climate, regular humidity, well-drained soils, and precise know-how from planting through to leaf harvest.
Tea in our portfolio
Tea is one of the nine crops developed by AMF Group, alongside the argan tree, pistachio and banana. Plantations progress gradually, based on feasibility studies and the agronomic conditions of each site. As an example, experimental plots are being assessed within our programmes.
Our approach remains the same as for our other crop lines: prior studies, quality plants, controlled irrigation and continuous technical support.
